Editorial Services (English)
Whether you're a first-year student completing an assignment, or writing at an advanced level for research or consultancy; tourism21 provide professional proofreading and editing services to meet your needs. Our native English speaking proofreaders can assist you in developing your document to the highest standards. You retain full control over the content of your document and choose whether to accept any or all of the changes our editors may propose. We provide editing, proofreading and writing services to the academic and consulting community and can edit your work for clarity, flow and consistency. Whilst we specialize in servicing the Tourism sector our services are available to a diversity of clients. The process is very straightforward. Simply decide which service you require, pay for the service based on the word count* of your document using PayPal (below) and email the document to us including your PayPal receipt number. We will proofread or edit your work and return it via email.
Our Rates (in Swiss Francs).
Proofreading:
Your document already has a high quality of English and simply needs a final check for occasional errors.
Cost: CHF 20 per thousand words within two weeks or as agreed (urgent work will attract additional charges).
Proofreading and Light Editing:
Revisions on matters of basic grammar and changes to improve the clarity of your document. Including checks for:
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Punctuation
- Sentence structure
- Paragraph structure
Cost: CHF 35 per thousand words within two weeks or as agreed (urgent work will attract additional charges).
Heavy Editing:
Work that requires an active editorial role in rewriting and reworking the text. Includes corrections to the document and may also include comments and or suggestions for developing the work. Ideal for those working on dissertations, academic papers or reports. This service is particularly appropriate for those for whom English is a second language.
Cost: CHF 40 to 80 per thousand words (depending on level and nature of the work required).

Full payments must be received prior to the commencement of any work on your document. Your document must be in Microsoft Word and delivered to us as an email attachment. Tables, figures or photographic images should not be included in the document unless agreed in advance. Your email (with your document attached) must include your PayPal receipt number. All work will be returned via email.
* Charges are in units of 1000 words (for example 3,280 words will be charged as 4000 words).
